Welcome To My Digital Zibaldone

This is where i intend to collect all the little tidbits of knowledge that i come across. These won't be all deep and meaningful quotes. Some of it might be my own ramblings, or musings. Some might just be interesting facts or inner workings of stuff that amazes me. Like humans, their inner workings are amazing, but i've never pulled one apart to figure out what makes them tick. Yet.

Why do this in the first place?

I recently stumbled upon the whole web revival thing when sifting through youtube, wanting to regain something that was lost with the rise of social media. It's not an original thought by any means, lots of people are sick of the rise of the almighty algorithm. I'm just sick of it all enough to do something to take back the experience. I just want to go on the internet to see what my friends are up to, not what Meta want me to buy or believe. That's the other thing that annoys me about social media, the echo chamber they form around people to keep them angry and keep them clicking or watching or engaged. That's not what i want, and you shouldn't either. I never believed i had anything worth sharing with the world, let alone any innocent bystanders that happened to be witnessing a website of my creation, but here we are so i had better come up wih something i guess. Welcome.
